Home page

I have the pleasure to welcome you to the official website of the Mind Builders Initiative, a Non-Governmental Organisation saddled with the responsibility of integrating gender equality in Africa. In recent years, gender equality had become the subject of an unprecedented focus by development actors, donor governments and the international community. Development NGOs are increasingly seeking to take up the cause in their advocacy and campaigning, either by developing specific women’s rights campaigns, or by trying to incorporate a gender focus into other campaigns such as violence against women.  As the President, I acknowledge the privilege that I benefit from in life, in society and in my ability to shoulder the enormous cost of working towards a society where men and women will be treated equally.

We strongly believe that everyone has the ability and potential to help bring about a better Africa. We champion the course of building young minds through our knowledge services such as debates, conferences, workshops and symposium. Our intellectual programmes give the opportunity for voices to be heard by providing insights and practical ideas needed to integrate gender equality in Africa. We empower women, to know how useful they are to the development of the world. We help young individuals by building their confidence through various public speaking activities and training. Our educative programmes help to enlarge young people’s mind. We hate violence against women, and had diligently take the obligations to exercise due diligence in the prevention of all forms of violence against women and girls.

We use our collective expertise to call for change across Africa, challenging young people and involving international agencies to protect and promote women’s rights on the African soil. Mind Builders Initiative calls you to support her course as she takes the bold lead for change. Please, I encourage you to take your time in spanning through our website for your adequate information and interest.

Thank you, enjoy your reading.
